i went 2.5 inchs above stock. put on 35" tires ..and didnt see any signs of tread wear until 6 months later.. and i drive 60-75kms a day. went a year after that and my tires where fine...mind you they were 35" offroad tires so i didnt care that much. Truck didnt wonder at all on the highway.
Switching up tires now and bought a new set and will be gettin an alignment done.
ITs really up to you if you want one or not---how much do you care about your tires? lol

well Ill say this. I regret not getting mine aligned... I cranked mine up 1.5" and not doing any research now I am having issues with a tie-rod or ball joint noise.. Also I dont know if this would be a cause of it but my steering rack is leaking pretty bad.. My tires dont show any sign of bad wear.... I only put 15k on the truck since I played with the t-bars. Now I have to play fix it and wonder what else is wrong.

Thanks guys!
Alright here is my thing. I am wanting to get a rough country lift. But money being a problem I am trying to talk my self out of it and just buy a leveling kit. But I know that the lift kit would look way better, give me allot more off road clearance, since it comes with new shocks it would ride better and it would let me put bigger tires on. Can anyone think of anymore reasons to get the lift? Also I am worried about MPG loss due to the lift. The rough country lift is 1195 plus shipping and the leveling kit is 99 bucks. I know if I get the leveling kit that I am going to want new shocks as well. What would 4 good shocks cost me?
Thanks!!!
