Anybody have a part number for the lower strut mount bushing on a 2006 dodge ram 1500. (It has IFS)

I'm trying to install my HBS leveling kit, and can't remove the bolt. A 3/4" impact won't even break it loose. Cutting it off seems to be the best option now, and I think I'll ruin the bushing in the process. Please don't tell me it only comes with the lower control arm. Napa and Part Source don't have anything for it, and the dealer is closed today.

From what I can see on that pdf, there is no listing for the bushing. I'll see what my local dealer says, but I'll get a new bolt, and try to save the bushing.

 

cut the head of the bolt off and pound the bolt out in reverse. worked very well on my 06. then take a file or something and clean out the metal sleve and install a new bolt.

My brother ordered 2 new lower strut bolts for me, they'll arrive at his shop tomorrow $15 a piece, his cost.

One of my control arm bolts is seized too. I can't believe how bad it is, it's not like my truck is that rusty underneath, but I guess it doesn't take much.

I guess I'll cut the control arm one off, so I can have the control arm off the truck, then try press the lower strut bolt out, and/or cut the head off and press it out. I need them loose anyways to get a proper alignment.

What a pain in the *** for something so simple. All it would have taken was just a bit of never-seize at the factory. . .

Oh, and a new control arm is $300, his cost.

You cant search that site by manufacture part numbers as they are an aftermarket parts place. What exactly are you looking for and for what yr/mk/mo

 

Ya I've looked through there before. Problem with this, is that the shop space is needed asap. If the parts are not available quickly here, I'll re-assemble it, and kick it out until I have the parts I need (either local or online).

The bushing is not available separate from the control arm, anywhere I've looked, so there is no p/n.
