Default New 2010 Ram

Hi I just picked-up my new 1500 Laramie last week. What is very odd about this Ram is, it has a Sport Bumper?? The Trk only had 7 miles on it,
production date 7/10. Today I had the dealership parts dept. run the vin# and tell me what bumper it came with, he tells me Chrome... So I'm thinking ok freight damage, been repaired, installed sport bumper. I go over to the body shop to get some answers. Body shop manager tells me
they have never worked or fixed this truck. So the manager and a couple of the body techs come out for closer look. They look the trk over real close, the nose, fenders, hood..they all say that the front bumper and the rest of the trk is Factory Paint... Two of the techs crawl under the
trk, look under the hood.. Nope never been painted or damaged.....
AnyHow I'm in love with this Ram, and I like the Sport Bumper..

Sometimes stuff happens during production that doesn't make sense. I frequent VW boards since I have one, and two things come immediately to mind. A guy went to buy a Jetta, and one of the rear door cards was a different color than the rest. On another one, instead of having Jetta on the back, it had Bora...the European name for the Jetta.

Go with it...it makes it unique. Unless you really want the chrome, in which case ask for the correct bumper to be installed.

The window sticker says: 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie and it has the standard Laramie equipment...leather split bench seat, ect.....when the dealership parts dept. ran the vin# it came-up as a Laramie package.
I tried to post more pics but the forum says I'm out of memory...HTSS

I think I'd make them change out the rear chrome bumper to a painted one like on a Sport if you like the painted front.
