Painted headlights on my 09..........different..
Sorry all, been laid up. Have not done the thread on the headlights, soory
.
I hurt my back the Friday before we did Rich's truck and haven't been the same since. First day back to work in two weeks and it was hell. Back is still killing me. Nothing new done to the truck yet. Waiting on 1) rain to stop 2) back to get better.
On the plus side Flexeril, Vicadin, and steroids make for a lot of nighty-night.
I think I have caught up on all my sleep for the next year or so. And yes, everything was prescribed by the doctor.

Does it cut down light output? Also, since you seem to have good ideas,on a black one would you consider leaving the edges chromed or would you go all black? What about the oven part,,,200 degrees for 10 minutes's OK? did you sand the chromed part or just plaine matte black paint?
thanks
thanks
If I had chrome on the truck, leaving the parts that I painted orange (chrome) would look sweet. Well, every oven is different but 200 for 10-15 minutes would be a good start (better safe than sorry). You can increase the time in small increments to get the sealant soft, but be careful and keep an eye on your clear lens. you don't want it to end up yellow from cooking.
Just got done with mine... the glue they used on these badboys *&%$#%* joke... Ive done with previous headlight on my truck and bikes to install halo's and never needed more than 5min at 250 deg, this glue was more like 10-12min at 350 deg.... PAIN in the *** but looks sick!
