My truck is like a shop away from home so I keep just about everything in it.
Heres the list:
- 2 sets of jumper cables (8ft and 15ft)
- 4 tie down straps
- 90 piece SAE and Metric sockets
- 4 socket wrenches (one quarter inch, two 3/8th, and a half inch drive)
- about thirty open ended wrenches.
- a hammer
- rubber mallet
- 4 ton floor jack
- screw drivers
- DUCT TAPE
- JB weld
- Spare fuses
- 10 spark plugs
- six quarts of 10w-30 semi synthetic motor oil
- 2 quarts of 10w-40 full synthetic racing oil
- drain pan and container.
- three quarts limited slip safe gear lube
- two flash lights
- small blow torch
- dirt bike stand
- air filter oil
- hose clamps
- zip ties
- two gal anti freeze
- shovel
- 10" saw
- hatchet
- two knives, one in the cab and a box cutter in the tool box. (have to take them out durring the school year.)
- tire patch kit
- spare tire
- tow strap (20')
- two pairs of gloves
- extra alternator, you never know!
- wd-40
- Carb and choke cleaner
- seafoam
- towels
- water (drinking)
- a little 5 lug donut (incase my mom or a friend need help)
- belt

Soon I hope to add a small engine driven welder so I can do more jobs on the go. Its cheaper to go to the broken part than bring it to my shop.

Ill post a few pics of how I have it all stored later, I have alot of it for the dirt bike.

Items kept in truck.

Items kept in hidden compartment under middle seat up front:
Tow strap
Stihl Gloves
Lug nut key
Tuner(sometimes, only if I'm adjusting a shift pattern)
Items under back seat:
3cell Maglight
4ga jumper cables
Fresh toilet paper roll(hey, you never know..lol)
medium size towel
jack/wrench (had to relocate due my amp being under front seat)
20oz bottle of water
3 flare sticks
Tire patch kit
Mini Compressor
Items kept in front driver door:
few pairs of Nitrile gloves
HD shop towel(paper towel)
tire pressure guage
slimjim(not the one's you eat..haha) I've helped a few people out with it already!
my trailer lock keys and hitch pin clip
dielectric grease tube(small)
1-phillips, 1-flat, and small pliers rubber banded together inside the paper towel(stops rattling noises)
Center Console:
typical paperwork
road bike LED flasher for loads hanging past tailgate
spare cell phone battery
GloveBox:
Ipod(I ran the plug fron HU to glovebox)
Owners Manual
not much room for anything else.
Bed items under cover:
2 ratchet straps
2 small & 2 large bungee cords
2-5/8" reciever ball(I keep 2" in reciever at all times but need to swap out every so often)

Now everyone knows what's in my truck. Now you just need to figure out where I keep the truck....lol

insurance & registration for truck and trailers
owner's manual
tuque and winter gloves
load inflation chart for tires
CD's
hand wipes
spare change
boost cables
2 kid's car seats
2"x20' HD ratchet straps
1"X15' ratchet straps
rope and bungies
HD tow strap
ice scraper and snow brush
snow shovel
hard hat and steel toe boots
visi-vest
work gloves
hitches, pins and locks
empty plastic bags
small plastic tarp

there's probably more crap in there but that's all I can think of right now. Hard to fit much more with 2 car seats since I can't use my under seat storage. I don't keep anything in the bed other than the snow shovel since I use the bed for hauling stuff too often and it stays pretty dirty back there.
