can somebody else who currently does have a leveling kit installed (bilstein or spacer) and the shudder in 4x4 confirm/test that switching ESP off illiminates the vibration?

This does not work on my 09 Sport. I can only disable ESP by fuse, 4 low, or disconnecting the sensors. The only other option is a programer to disable it. I tried multiple times to do hold the button down though....

I tried this a month ago with my 09 Sport and I got a message on the EVIC stating that ESP had been turned off. I was in 4wd with the transmission in neutral. So you don't get a message?

I'm new to the 4th generation Rams. I am going to buy a 09 QC 1500 SLT 4x4. Upgrading from a 2001 1500. Can someone please explain this shudder people are referring to?

EDIT: Also the truck I am purchasing has a spacer leveling kit in the front. Unsure of the make though.

it's felt when in 4WD while taking off under WOT. my truck did not experience this before my 1.5" strut spacer, but it does it now. i've only tested it on dry pavement but from what i'm reading in this thread it will do it in snow as well.

just installed these shocks in front/rear along with new set of BFG AT KO's (285/70/17). I did not do the spacer in the rear and have had no issues, no shudder in 4wd hi or lo(sorry, didn't check wot on pavement, lol, not gonna happen on my truck). These shocks are perfect, no more mush and sway or dive. Wish I would have done them sooner...

Ok guys I had the bilsteins put on my truck in the 1.4 inch setting and immediately got the vibration. Had my tires balanced and checked the alignment...ect. I even tried the Kore high angle cv joints and that helped but did not completely fix the problem. Two months ago I got the recall notice about my tie rod ends and had them replaced and that fixed the wobble immediately and it has been gone ever since. Just throwing that out for you to think about.
