Default 2009 Dodge Ram Dyno day

2009 Dodge Ram Sport Extended Cab. 5.7 Hemi, 3:92 posi, tru flow intake...still. 7800 miles on the truck, mufflex 24", Predator 92 tune.

My scanner is dead, so a picture of the graph. I have not tweaked the tuner for high rev limit etc. Canned 92 octane tune. No problems so far....4 months now.

Conditions: 72.09 degrees. 30% humidity.

Not bad for a truck. I get 16.5 avg at 78 mph.
19 to 20mpg at 45 or 55.
Seen as high as 23...and much lower.

Cheers
Blue

Am I reading this right? You are only getting 316 Hp? Forgive me but I never had a dyno done before. Shouldn't you be up over 390 since 390 is stock?

390 is at the fly wheel. True power is at the rear wheel. There is a loss of 20 to 27% due to drivetrain.

Here is my Dyno sheet from Diablo with canned 87 tune and temp was 87 degrees, humidity 67%. Only Mod was a Flowmaster HD50.
Not all Dynos are created equal.

So when you had the power of the diablo and then did a dyno did you have alot of power come out. The reason why i am asking is i want one but i want to know the power gain if it is not worth it i dont need to waste 400 dollars

I believe the consensus was that SC had better results then the Diablo. Diablo has a great product for LX, LY platform vehicles, however SC has had pretty good reviews in regards to the 4th generation RAM trucks.

Screw the minor few hp differences between the 2. Depending on your year, Superchips has Torque Management control and Advanced transmission tuning(partial upshifts/partial downshifts) that blows away Diablo.
Now, if you need a tuner for custom tunes to accomodate head work and hot cams, diablo is what you would need. For minor bolt ons and mild cams, Superchips FTMFW

see SC link in my sig for specifics.
