Does the PW come with the 5.7 or the Diesel? If it's the 5.7 then I'd say any of the 1500's aftermarket exhausts should work.

The PowerWagon is offered only with the Hemi.

Ya it has the 5.7, If the one from the 1500 would fit you'd think they would list the PW on there but they don't. I emailed Borla to see if they were going to release a system for it and they said it should be on the shelves in 4 to 5 months.

Makes sense if you're swapping out everything since the HD trucks have longer combinations. Guess I hadn't taken a completely new system into consideration.

If you are wanting to do a cat back exhaust, don't buy the kits. They are way too over priced. Find a muffler that you like and then take it to a shop and have it welded in. Most decent shops will only charge $75-$100 to put in a muffler, so add in another $100 for the muffler itself and we now have a rough total of $200.00. Compare that to a cat back kit which would run you anywhere between $300 and all the way up to $1000.

Just my two cents.

There are currently no available catback exhaust systems for the 2010 Ram 2500 5.9 Hemi or Powerwagon. Suprising? Very... I have been checking and e mailing vendors once a week so trust me when I say nothing. Diesel yes gas no. Additionally the 1500 catback exhausts will not fit without modification the mounting points are different. Remember the shortest bed available in the 2500 bodystyle is the 6.4 bed. Even if you get the only close combination when it comes to exhaust length- the 1500 Quad cab Hemi with 6.4 bed catback, the mounting points are still different and it will require some mild fabrication to fit. I tried that avenue. Keep in mind the 2500 Hemi comes from the factory with 3" exhaust which is ideal for an aftermarket muffler installation, which is what I went with.

been reading up on the exhaust intake side of getting more power out of the 5.7, if the factory exhaust is actually 3" then is the factory muffler really that restrictive? been ready about gains of 50 hp between a high flow intake and exhaust on the 1500 due to the hemi its self having great breathing heads just the stock intake and exhaust being restrictive. any input? Northern canuck how you like the wagon? just bought a 2011 outdoorsman with 410s after my 05 wagon sh+t the bed

There is no way you will get 50hp fron an intake and cat-back on a Hemi.
About 8hp for a CAI and maybe 12hp from a cat-back. The factory stuff actually flows pretty good.

I think that is what NicPowerwagon was referring to with the gain of 50hp between the 08-09/10/11. They changed the intake big time, hence the larger hump on the hood. I really don't think it is worth it to buy a CAI for these trucks. Too much money for so little gain. I do agree with aftermarket exhaust though, more so for the sound, than the minimal HP gain. Even a programmer doesn't give much bang for the buck, probably 20-30hp gain MAX for 6-700 bones. I think these trucks are pretty maxed out right from the factory. I also agree with not getting a cat back system, just go with the muffler. Thats what I did and it saved me huge, and I got the sound that I was looking for.
