Upon further inspection I noticed that there was clean grease on the edge of the ***** and that it just happened to be about the same size of a fork on a lift or jack. It was obvious to me that the dealer ran a jack into it or ran the truck into a lift, probably the later.
After grumbling about it for a week or so and looking at it every time I walked in front of it, I noticed that the right side of the bumper was lower than the left. The margin between the grill apron and the bumper is about 1" on the right side and about 1/4" on the left. This thing was hit hard or it hit something hard!

Over the years I've had more damage done to my vehicles buy the dealers than any other source other. ....I just hate to bring my truck to the dealer!
Amen to the dealer part, don't even like those young kids doing my oil change. My truck was shaking while they were doing the oil change not the normal movement from loosening or tightening something was like and up and down. Another customer walked over and told me a guy was doing something like chin ups from my y pipe he could see him clear as day from the waiting room. I am paraplegic so I stay in, too much work to get out for a 20 minute procedure. Anyway got that oil change free and a note on my receipt about the incident in case I have an issue with my exhaust. I was thinking about ripping it off somehow going back to them and just tell them I will fix it myself and go get a true dual set up. I made the ****er come out and apologize he was a big ****er too. He did not get fired over this I told the manager I did not want the kid fired...we all do dum **** when young. I didn't see him next time I asked he got fired for driving a guys neon in the pit. That is why I really use my handicap as an excuse to drive it myself.

No dents, but did get some scratches on the bumper backing into a snow drift that was a block of ice. Touch up a few times, color sand with 1000 and rubbing compound.... Can not even see where they were.

When i bought my old 3500 dually in '07, i took it back to the dealer after 3000 miles. The clearcoat on my dually fenders (rocker panel) was flaking off.. it looked horrible

I took it to the dealership, they took pics, made a claim, and i was denied any work done, because the manager told the dodge dealership that it looked like i was in an accident and had somebody cheaply spray paint over the fender (rocker panel), and it was making it flake off.. i told myself i would never buy another dodge product after that, and here i am with a new '09 (i just got it for the inside)

I'll be honest, all these stories makes me feel a little better about it. Some times misery dose like company.

My old truck: 9 years old no dents. My new 09 ram, 3 months old and my fairly new girlfriend falls into the rear passenger door with her butt and dents it. Yeah, that was almost the end of that relationship...but fortunately it could be fixed to new with no painting. She still hasn't lived that one down though.

I just gotta ask, was the realationship almost ending due to her hitting the truck, or you commenting on how large her *** must be to do that? I know my mouth works faster then the brain sometimes. Like when my wife said "Don't look at my fat ***" and I relied, "But I love your fat ***." Women just can't take a compliment.

haha...well fortunately she has a very cute rear end, in fact that probably played a role in my decision to keep the relationship going. It was a pretty hard fall and may have been alcohol induced on her part.

Didnt even have 500 miles on my truck when we got nailed with a golf ball sized hail storm!! I can live with the 4 on the roof cause obviously you cant see them but the six on the hood make me wanna cry. I have a guy coming out next week who does the paintless dent removal so we shall see how that goes.
