'11 Ram 1500 Laramie fully chromed mirrors w/ turn signals
Hi everyone. I am looking to buy a 2011 Ram 1500 Laramie and I have a question. Why is Ram (Dodge/Fiat/whatever you wanna call it) currently offering two, maybe three kinds of mirrors for the '11 model? Is it just the regular and the 'Fold-Away Power Trailer Tow Mirrors' option? One is shorter, fully chromed with integrated turn signals, the other is longer, half chromed with no turn signals at all, even though the option description lists them, the tow mirrows as: Chrome Exterior Mirrors, Exterior Mirrors with Supplemental Signals, Exterior Mirrors Courtesy Lamps. What gives?
Thanks.

The first mirrors are normal chrome mirrors that come on the laramie. The other mirrors your talking about (in the following pics) are the power fold away trailer tow mirrors, and YES they do have supplemental signals in them, they are leds under that small clear plastic piece in the top corner of the chrome portion of the mirror. They also have the led puddle lights....
The tow mirrors rotate up (your 2nd 3rd and 4th pictures). I've got one of the 2010 2500/3500 tow mirrors sitting on my kitchen table right now for my 09. Looks like they made them available on the 2011 1500 Still need to get the drivers side. The tow mirrors have turn signals, they are just hard to see from a distance against the chrome.

Oleksakjr and oldjeep, thank you so much for your help, I got confused exactly because the chrome makes it so hard to see the lights on those.
Do they make too much additional wind noise for being larger than the regular ones? Can you see the blind spots better with the convex section?
