running 87 octane or 89 would have nothing to do with it.. Also the MDS kicking on won't make the truck sputter and such... I've been driving a 2011 for a loaner and that one doesn't sputter when the ECO light is on
I will comment on the CEL and chrysler techs... they seem to be helpless if the light isn't on.. I've been dealing with a CEL issue on my 08 for over 12 months now and the techs seem helpless. They arn't really mechanics just monkeys with wrenches that read a book and follow instructions.

My 09 sport did the same thing when it was new. Hasn't done it in a while now. The problem is definitely the MDS. Your steady speed is at a point where the engine (computer) can't decide whether or not to be in fuel saver mode. If you change your RPM's slightly, up or down, the sputtering will go away.
