Having matured beyond child rearing years I must plea guilty to ignorance in the 1st degree. 
btw...my first license in TX was when I was 14. Learning permit at 12. Had to sit on a city of Houston phone book to see over the wheel of my dad's '47 DODGE (thank you very much) pick up.

beautiful truck.......just be very careful, you have alot of power under that hood and that can lead to alot of problems if you arent thinking clearly........you guys would be amazed at some of the cars kids get handed nowadays, i traded in my corvette for my current 2010 ram, and in the corvette forum there were at least 5 kids under 18 driving around in new Z06's....now THAT is a problem waiting to happen.
