Default Navigation Maintainance Settings?

Hey all,

New 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab owner here. My previous Ram was a 2006 Ram Mega Cab 2500. I had the navigation system in it and it had maintainance settings for oil change, tire rotation, air filter, and other fluid reminders that I could program by mileage.

In my new 3500 Mega Cab I have the 430N navigation system, and I cannot find these settings anywhere! Am I missing something, or did no one else find that feature handy, and they left it out?

My next question, if the maintainance settings are not available on the 430N, are they included in the 730 nav system?

I'm not totally sure on this, but I think that your maintenance settings will be hidden in the EVIC (Display between gauges on your instrument cluster)

From what I recall in a manual somewhere, the EVIC will tell you when it's time for your oil change. But no mention of any of the other fluids. Doesn't mean it won't do it....just need clarification if it does or does not cover it.

I hope I have something.

I guess I'm the only SOB that used that feature and cares.

Casey, why don't you post this on the tech section. Sounds like it qualifies under the forum rules. I suspect that few members read the general discussions.
