A tailgate seal is usually some foam tape, to apply where the tailgate comes in contact with the box body - seals so moisture, and dirt, don't get in thru the gaps on the sides and bottom.

 

I purchased mine at the same time as JRI from dinamitetbs.com for the same price. I think if I recall we got so many orders together and they gave us a discount. One of the guys I work with ordered one also. The F1 is a really good cover IMO. Never have had a problem with it. I have a rambox and wanted a cover that would be flush with the tops of the box. Maybe dinamite will do another group order....

Go into any auto parts store. There are foam and rubber types to choose from.
