If you're not in a rush go to different dealers and take your time looking for better incentives. I took three months to finally buy the truck and I was considering factory ordering. In the end I found the dealers weren't to helpfull in filling a factory order. They seemed to be of the mind that the best truck for you is the one on their lot. In the end the deal was better than I could get ordering one and had what I wanted. Good luck and be willing to walk away.. most times they'll call back with a better deal.

Default Best price by factory ordering

First off, I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I visited SEVERAL local dealers to see what sort of deal they would give me on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Crew Cab. Not one dealer had the exact truck I wanted (with options, that is.) And the trucks they did have were coming in at over $40,000, after incentives.
It was only after one dealer offered to factory order in a truck for me, and they showed me how much it would cost.
Now... this is what I ordered:
2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Crew Cab
Hemi
3.92 gears
hitch, brake controller, wiring
sprayed-in bedliner
step rails
remote start
sport hood (non-operational hood dams)
430 Stereo (upgraded touch-screen, but non-navigation)
back-up camera and park assist
Pretty much every option except leather seats and sun-roof

When we built this truck, the MSRP was just over $51,000.00 but I was able to secure a deal at just over $36,000! This includes the current factory incentives of $7,500.00.

I think this is a very good deal. Not one dealership said they could sell me a truck that is on their lot for this low of a price. That price does not include GST.
