Its my favorite and thats why Im on this forum. to read about my DODGE! I have no brand preferance as I just like good cars and trucks. I wouldnt trade my DODGE for anything! Default My .02 cents...

I, too, am fairly new to this forum and agree with what all of you have posted. Personally, I find some of the "whining" humorous! Unfortunately the majority are not...but...as with most things people may not like (explicit lyrics, banned books, Bill Clinton, etc...) it's simple...don't pay attention to them!

Here's an idea - since every forum is going to have SOMEONE upset with their vehicle/dealer/sales person/whatever, why don't we have the admin's open a "Gripes Only" section.

I'm just sayin....

Cheers!

Tim

BTW - I am in no way disparaging Bill Clinton...my views concerning that gentleman shall remain my own.

It's simple. People expect a perfect vehicle and this just isn't possible. I too am tired of hearing about it

They just need to live up to their warranty and all the hype. Dodge should be aiming for return customers.

Maybe you guys can give me some pointers. Sending emails to Customer Assistance hasn't done much. I'm getting frustrated by it all.

Thanks!
Having an issue is one thing, if the dealer is not taking care of it and you don't have another one to go to, call the customer service number and get an action # opened and talk to a live person to get real resolution, emailing will not do it, the one time I had an issue with the ECO flash, the service person you meet wanted to charge me 100 dollars, I went round and round with her on this over the phone, went in with the # and person I talked to at Dodge CS and all was well, and no problems since. All the little stuff I have had has been done satisfactory to me. Sometimes its unfortunate to get a jerk but outflank them and go over their heads with real live people.

No, that isn't being a troll, it's voicing issues you are having with your truck and your disappointment on how it's being handled (or not handled).

The company is far from perfect. All parts go bad, but there are issues that are COMMON issues that go way back to the 2nd Gen Rams that have not been addressed (can you say "C" Clip?) and there is NO excuse for it.

They aren't alone Ford has been plagued by 5.4 plugs stripping out, 6.0 diesel heads and GMs Dexcool problem has more class action suits than any other automaker in history.

A troll is the guy who comes on and answers a post about a dropped cylinder with "because it's a POS Dodge", answers a blown fuse post with "because it's a POS Dodge", and answers a flat tire post with "because it's a POS Dodge"...

I have been a troll some on the forum. I will try giving customer assistance a phone call instead of an email. I thought doing an email would be better since you have a record.

Thanks again!

Not at all Steve. As was said above:

You have a legitimate complaint, and in my opinion it's helpful to share not only your problem(s), but what you're doing to solve them, and perhaps more importantly what the dealer's response is to your requests for help.

Personally, I appreciate you keeping us up to date with the issues you've described, and I hope you don't stop!

If I were to exclaim: "You're a POS Dodge owner!". To what, or whom, does POS refer????

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, off-topic or erroneous messages in an on-line community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
