Default The One Thing That Hooked You

I am interested in buying either a new Ford, possibly Raptor but I most likely wouldn't go to heavy on the off-roading so I dont see the point, or a new Ram. I love the look of the Ram, and my buddy has let me drive his quite a few times and I do like them. But what is the one thing that made you have to buy the Ram?

If I do make the purchase I will go for a 2011 Sport, most likely with the 3.92.

Hemi, interior, and I love the way they rolled the rear bumper for the dual exhaust.

Hemi, great power and fuel economy compared to the other engines out there. Sport interior with the console shift and the dual exhaust.

The sport interior is definitely nice. I keep hearing things about the MDS causing problems. But from all the driving I have done on his 09 Sport. I haven't noticed it.

I had a 2010 Ram Sport with leveling kit for 1500 kms. I loved the power, the "appearance" of a nice interior & the compliments that I received every time that I got out of the truck. I must say that I actually thought the truck was to nice for what I needed it for. I then had a gas powered 2010 F250 for 5000 kms & although it felt more like a truck I missed the ride quality of the Ram Sport 1500. I was surprised at how much the 2500 sagged with a load & thought that either way I will need air bags. The last straw though was fuel economy.I feel confident that with the amount that I drive that the more powerful Hemi will save me $200 per month in gas alone. I am now firm on my choice to keep my 2011 Ram Sport for the long haul. It is a 390 HP Jukebox with all the bells & whistles & I'm very happy with the decision.

the first thing that "hooked" me years ago was the cummins 5.9. this year i just picked up 2011 single cab, short bed 4x4 sport model. love it, one test drive and i didn't even bother looking at other brands.
