Reeseonfire did you paint your rims yet or still in the process?
I'm waiting for winter to end and some nice warm sunny days before I take on paiting my rims, smoking all my lights and fixing some dingers. I don't have a garage and don't feel like painting in the snow

And I'm for sure using that PlastiDip stuff now that I know about it!

How about looking into having them re-chromed with black chrome.

I have seen it on here, A LONG WHILE AGO... but the guy had his rims sandblasted down to the metal (was hardly noticeable) and then had it powder coated..

It's one way to do it. I still haven't done it yet but when I do I'll use plastidip. I painted my stainless westin bullbar with black plastidip and it looks real good and still holding up. Won't have to sand and prime anything, plus its only gonna be my winter rims anyways.

Took about 3 hours, very easy. I messed up a few times all I had to do was peel off the screw up and redo it. Used 3 cans, $6.95 each, super cheap price for a super clean look. Best part is that those are the chrome clad hubcaps. I havent even touched my rims yet...those pop on and off in a second.

Your pics didn't work. What did you do, same as the link you posted above or used plastidip?
