Default CAI 09 RAM 63 Series-1561 K&N

Just thought I'd share this little bit of information, I am a new owner of a 2009 Dodge RAM 1500, and so far in love with this truck! But I was shopping for some CAI kits and decided to go with K&N 63-1561. AutoAnything.com had great customer service and they said they'd match anyones price w/ free shipping. They had it for $321 and I found it elsewhere for $229.31! So if anyone is looking for a good place to get CAI, check them out, I had a good experience with them!

I found it on amazon.com (link below) and AutoAnything.com matched there price and shipped it for free. I just checked my order and it'll be here on the 11th. Can't wait to install it.

I have this intake....glad I did the intake before my mufflex...the cowling sound was A LOT louder than I expected from the intake...Before I did the intake I was gonna do the 18" mufflex, but ended up doing the 24" when I heard the cowling...glad I did. The sound has shifted from under the hood the the rear exhaust now. Just enough sound....no drone!!

I was looking at getting the mufflex, but I'm starting to lean towards just buying the magnaflow 24" muffler n paying a shop to weld it on. I just like the idea of having it welded on.

Sounds like you got a good set up. If you can post a video in this thread if you can!

I ended up going with the 24" Magnaflow and your right it sounds just perfect! I like how it's not to loud and no highway drone which I like since I do quite a bit of HWY driving. I did end up welding it on and it instead of going w/ the mufflex, have you had any issues w/ your clamps coming loose at all?
