Default Truck Bed Lighting

I am looking at putting in some LED lights in the bed of my 2009 RAM 1500. Debating between the Recon Lights and the Putco LED Light strip. Has anyone used these before or had luck elsewhere? I know they are pricey but I like the idea of being able to eliminate my flashlight for the bed. I was also thinking of wiring them up in a way that when I open the door to the truck that they turn on. Any ideas or if people have pictures of how they did it, that'd be appreciated! These are what I was looking at putting in...

So I finally got these up and installed in the truck, let me know what you think I wired up the lights and put a switch down by the seat controls and all works well!! Enjoy the pictures and let me know what you think!!

I ran the wire's through the firewall just underneath the bundle of wires (through the rubber nipple) I didn't want to drill through the firewall so I cut a little slit in the rubber.

Inside the cab you can see the black 18AWG wire that I brought the wire through, I then ran it underneath the carpet and up near the seat which you will see....

Pulled it up through the pre-cut slit where the power seat wires come from....

The on/off switch flush mounted. I chose to do it here instead of the dash b/c I was hesitant about drilling in the dash.

Connections to the switch..

Here's another picture running the wires from underneath the hood, as you can see two black wires running down underneath to run back to the LED's in the truck bead and the wire running up to the positive side of the battery from the switch....
