power wagon with 4.56 gears gas mileage ??
My brother is taking delivery on a 2010 Gray PW with 2500 miles. Should be here on Wednesday. My thoughts on gas mileage are you are buying a 3/4 rig to work so right off the bat gas mileage shouldn't be your #1 concern. If it is, buy a diesel, spend $8k more if you can afford it, and another $.50 a gallon for fuel. If you aren't towing 8000lbs daily then a gas engine is probably the more feasible option.
I was searching for a couple months for a diesel for my bro, no one was willing to deal far from their sticker, the reasonable priced rigs were stripped with no options. I weighed out the differences and the power wagon had more to offer in terms of options, its practically new, and a good price. I would suggest looking for used PW's, the sticker price on a new one seems a little crazy!

I looked at the Powerwagon before buying my 1500. Dealer said they had sold 2 and one came back due to the kid couldn't afford to drive it. Said the best they were hearing was 11 on the highway..... I really wated those lockers too.....
as long as i can get 12 -13 highyway when not towing i'm good with that. as far as price i'm at 300 under invoice on a 2011 pw. i'm good with that as well. i just need that 0% for longer than 3 years so i can afford the payment and i'll be good to go. hope it happens this month.
well i got the power wagon 12 or so days ago. dodge currently has 0% for 5 years on 2500 and 3500 series trucks plus a free hemi, but for some stupid reason they are not advertising it. i got 14.1 mpg on the 2nd fill so thats about what i was expecting. i'm glad i bought it. i ended up at $1300 under invoiceonce they deducted the free hemi. what i liked even better was the factory extended warranty through dodge at $2600. it is a bumper to bumper 100,000 mile warranty with no time limit. i was quite impressed with that. very happy so far with my first dodge truck. glad i pulled the trigger.

Congrats but where are the pictures!?
no affense, but i read the first guys reply and had enough, were talking trucks here, were all getting $h!t. some of us just worse than others by a mile or 2.
i own a 2500 with 4.10 gears and its rolling on 34's and i pull decent mpgs on the highway and absolute crap city. in fact i can easily go through $100 a week in gas just driving city, and thats at about 20 miles a day if that. highway i get anywhere from 16 (at like 75 mph) or 20/21 if i roll at 55/60. I also dont really baby it, when i first got the truck bone stock and babying it i was getting a few more mpgs.
i live in maryland where diesel has always and will always cost more than gas, where as down in south carolina where my family lives, diesel is way cheaper than gas, and I would have definitely gone diesel if i lived down there.
but your definitely looking at singles/10 around town, and anything for highway.
