Default gas price...

this is in ottawa Canada...

Back in March the barrel of oil was 104.42$ and we were paying 1,174$ per litre, last week the barrel was 1,328$/L and we were paying 1,379$/L yesterday the barrel closed at 99.49$ why the hell are we still seeing 1,329$/L at the freaking pump...

when ever the barrel goes up they adjust the price att the pump with in 1h, but when it goes down it takes for ever to reflect att the pump...

just ranting.. thank you.. lol

I'm out here in Vancouver and its reached 140.8/L already.
I remember a few years back it peaked at 147.9/L.
I think the reason the price doesn't go down is simply because we will pay any price for gas, we will bitch and complain and say we wont, but we will. when It was a 147/L a few years ago, I bought a $1000 honda civic because of how bad on gas my Ford Ranger was. I'm in the same boat now, I drive my parents Honda to work, and they take a commuter train into work, and the Ram stays parked untill the weekend

You gotta love government-think in action. Never makes sense, but they keep trying as hard as they can to get results no matter how ridiculous they get.

Careful when buying a vehicle. There are plenty of articles showing that buying a gas saver does not provide any monetary gains. It's still cheaper to use your gas guzzler. Now there's exceptions, of course...

We don't put a lot of miles on our truck only 16000 kms in 2 years. So although the price pisses me off it doesn't make me want get into a dinky car that you need the jaws of life to get you out of in a parking lot accident. I like to see the traffic ahead, so I know where to be and not to be.Also I was some power when I step on it, after all I am expecting something special when I floor it. If you are a commuter well a pickup is a dumb vehicle to buy in the first place, you could say that of my but I have hauled enough stuff in this truck already to make it work while having and towing a car hauler a few times with 5000 pickup on it and well didn't know it was there. The torque is great on these things I can just imagine the diesel. I will pay a few bucks extra for gas for now and hope it comes down, will just cut out cable phone since we all have cell phones anyway.
