Anyone have a Inferno Red Ram QC or CC with Chrome Door handles. Im thinking of getting the putco chrome door handle kit to put over my existing black door handles...

Just wanted to see if anyone had pics of theirs they could share

 

I was looking at getting Putco plastic chrome covers for my 3rd Gen, then I searched on ebay and found a guy selling a set of stainless covers. I figured, why chrome it when you can get true stainless.

Just a suggestion to keep in mind.

 

I bought the stainless ones about five years ago, I think from Stylintrucks.com.

They are still in great shape, I hit 'em with a rag with a dab of Flitz on it about once a year. I know people with the Putco plastisized chrome ones, they are fine.

My fuel door cover is a Putco...

 

I bought a set of chrome from Amazon for like $20.

 

You gonna put them on, or is your pic just not recent enough?


If everyone thinks they would look decent, thats great...Here were my main questions, if anyone can try to answer them

Will they look stupid, out of place. I have a Red two tone TRX4, I did Buy and have A Polished stanless steel fuel door, chrome mopar sport grill, mopar chrome tailpipe..While not TONS of chrome, will it look stupid with chrome door handles?


Do the look silly on a vehicle i dont plan to chrome out any more,,

Will they fall off, and do they look cheesy...


I know my goal is not to spend the money for replacement handles, no way.. But if the stick on patch kids is decent, i think it might look good

 

It's 3M tape man - they got that sh*t from the Roswell UFO crash - it ain't ever coming off! LOL...

Just buy the damn things and stick 'em on. Can't EVER have too much chrome/stainless steel/diamond plate IMO...

 

John, I haven't put them on yet. They look just like the Putco and others I have seen. I'm waiting for the black on my handles to get to the point that it looks bad before I put them on.

Going to save up (Yeah I have to save for anything over $20...kids suck up all my money)...And get the 502019's Chrome Stainless Steel...

If anyone wants to bring their Black handles back to life, holy CRAP this stuff works really well!! just be sure to use the conditioner, and a small paint brush to get the handles without getting paint on your truck..
