Couple of new mods to my truck!
Once it is applied you can't tell the difference between the ScotchCal film and the paint, expect the faint line at the edge. It does wonders to prevent rock chips, but it isn't 100% bulletproof. Catch a big enough rock and it will still chip or tear. It's worth its weight in gold if you drive in metro traffic though (always following people closely).

I definitely want to debadge. The RAM 1500 just makes the side of the truck look tacky and jumbled in my opinion. I don't have any problems with the Hemi fender badge, but the RAM 1500 just gets under my skin. You're probably right about your truck though. It might look pretty decent with the color your truck is. It stands out way too much against black though.[/QUOTE]
When you de-badge post pictures!
Now that I look at your's it does say 1500 and it does drag it out a bit much... my RAM came without the 1500...I have the HEMI/RAM Logo and thats it...

You let an expert put it on. :-) Applying it well is an art. Just don't go to a dealer because they mark up the cost about 75%. Find a local independent installer and work directly with them.

Looks great. I'm really digging the RAM logo like that. Did you use Plasti-Coat on both the head and the background? I'd love to do mine with a black head and then a silver background to match the truck.
I haven't been able to find the Krylon plastic paint in silver. I got the idea to paint mine originally from a fellow member of ramforumz. He used Duplicolor Perfect Match Bright Silver Metallic for his background piece as he was color matching with his truck. Here's the link to his thread showing how he went about it. http://ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=89495
debadge the 1500 emblems but plastidip the hemi ones and leave them on. painting your bumpers with bed coating would look sweet

No problem thought I'd let you know before a mod rips you a new one.
