Well got some debadging completely finished this morning. I think it looks much cleaner and a whole lot less cluttered.

I really want to paint the headlight housings now. I'm thinking about sanding all the chrome and going with a nice satin black or matching it with dupli color perfect match brilliant black.

Interestingly enough another member on here (vodapas) ordered a 2011 r\t and it came with the sport hood. He posted a thread offering to trade for the stock hood because he liked the look of it better. The 2010 r\t came with the stock hood but they changed it for 2011. Needless to say I drove from Des Moines IA to Bloomington Indiana and made the trade. Heckuva deal. I love the more aggressive more muscular look.

If I see any similar deals I'll drop you a PM. On another note some guy in a newer Tundra tried showing off to me yesterday. He got alongside me and romped on it, so promptly blew his doors off.

GIGGITYYYYYY!!!! ....Next time tell him to hold off a min then race him so you can take a video and make an *** out of him when you post it on you-tube and DF.Com so you can make an @$$ out of the tunda 5.7i-puss hahaaa. Its great having this HEMI, do you have a tuner on yours? I have the superchips and it literally rapes them and I love it....Superchips Cortex 93Octane tune! GIDDIE UP!!!

My buddy has a tundra and I tell him it sounds like a sewing machine when he rev's it...lol

Yeah I probably should of done that. Nah no performance chip yet though I see a lot of people have them. I haven't really read up too much on them? What's the big difference between using a performance chip and running stock?

Read up on them well worth the time and investment! I bought mine after tons of research and ended up going w/ the SuperChips and it has been great! The transmission shifts much smoother w/ the different octane tune settings. It really opens that HEMI up too, you can do custome tunes (turn MDS off, change WOT Shift points, change your tire size, add a tow tune, increase your top end speed on the limiter) there's a lot you can do!

Is debadging hard to do? I have a 2011 Red Ram 1500 Express and I think having less chrome would look good. If you pull the badges off, can you paint them and put them back on?
