Welcome to DF,

Lights look sweet btw, for being dual headlights....Well are you sure they are HID's? They look like regular halogens w/ projectors in the one pic you have...Get underneath your truck or lift your hood or pull out your light and see if there is a ballast (the ballast may have the HID manufacture for the bulbs). I am currently running Retro-Solutions HID 55w, 6K bulbs w/ a RAM Specific Harness

Did you buy the truck from a dealer or private seller?

Just found the headlight online:
http://www.anzousa.com/mmproducts/he...ge/111159.html

It says: Projector H.L with HALO LED.

So I guess its safe to say these are not HID like the dealer told me...

The ballast is typically mounted behind the headlight... depends on how much wiring you get w/ the kit.

I'd venture to say those are not HID (think the dealer got you on that one, or just plain stupidity on the salesman's part which I would venture to say). I would upgrade to HID's if you have projectors, the light output it just phenomenal, having projectors w/o HID's is just a cosmetic feature...

Hi, What do you mean by "projector is H/L"? Sorry that might be a stupid question...but I dont even get the projector thing... I've always been a Jeep TJ guy so im not to familiar with fancy headlights...lol...All I know is good ol sealed beam lights.

I'm not to sure what he is asking either....

but projectors have nothing to do w/ High/Low beams... A projector just simply (projects your light) w/ a sweet cut off! Projectors don't do much unless your running HID's... Think of a projector as your housing for your bulb.... the dual headlights (the lights you currently have) run a High/Low beam bulb all in one bulb...

Cool thanks.

Yeah I do have that "cut-off' on low beam. I did notice turning on high beams does not increase the light, like normal high beams, but it just removes that cut off so the light shines higher.
