The dealerships new WItech software can see if you've had a programmer on it.

They can see how many key counts or run time it has since it was returned to stock....

I'm not convinced that by putting in the 2011 PCM is going to give you your warranty back....All the logs and whatnot on that will be erased. Being a new vehicle whats the first thing that dodge is going to do to find your problem? Plug into that OBD port. They are going to notice that it has no logs for the past however long. If they can determine that the 2010 PCM caused the problem (not saying it did but dodge is going to push for that!) your outta luck. Not to mention they will probably start asking questions.
At least with a tuner you can pull the tune out and the dealership will never know. (at least on the older PCMS it would erase everything tune related)

Im still going to wait for tune, but thats just me, I would rather be safe then sorry. Hope you never have any problems tho!

Superchips is the only company that erases everything completely.... diablo, sct, and especially bully dog all leave traces....
only way around that is a pcm reflash by dealer

Im in it for 425.00
350 for tune 75.00 for PCM
not bad since i can get alot more than a canned tune

I know that a lot of people disagree with this but IMHO--If you can afford to buy a turner and put it on your truck you should have the money to pay for any repairs that need to be made as a direct result of the tuner.

Why do you have your rev set to 6800 and WOT shift only at 5800?

The single best thing besides changing your tranny with a tuner is to set your WOT 1-2 tranny change to 6200 r/m! This helps a lot especially in my case with 20" wheels and 3.55 granny rear...

Just my .02
