It just keeps getting worse for Ford F-150
than about 2% of total sales (remember your talking more than double the sales of Dodge)
for a break shift interlock switch. The other two recalls make up the rest of the 7.5% for Ford.
Remember your talking about 16000 units out of more than 500,000.

Like I said before I own a Ram and a F150. I've been a member here since 2004. If i see someone here or on the F150 forum spreading BS I'm going to call them on it. If it rubs some the wrong way, tuff. I'll bet there's more than one member here that has or does own another brand of vehicle than Dodge. If Ford reliability and resale go by the wayside
I'll switch to another brand.
Thats what's great about america, you can have a different opinion and own what ever vehicle you can afford. Honestly, some of the guys on this and other sites act like kid's.
They remind me of the people on tv at political rallies that try to shout down and bully
people that speak a different opinion. If you don't like what I have to say have the moderator kick me out. (go cry to the teacher)

I like all AMERICAN trucks and the competition they bring to the marketplace. The better Ford makes a truck, the better Chevy and Dodge make a truck and vice a versa. It's cool how they are all competing and bringing great products to us. Besides, I want all of the American workers making parts and vehicles employed. I don't care if the Gov bailed out Chrysler and GM, I'm glad to pay my fair share of taxes. I bought my first Ram because in my view it was the best truck and the best value at the time. Next time it may be a Ford or a Chevy, we'll see who has the best product.

You seem to be a good man rambob, but comparing 5.0 to a hemi is not an oppinion. It's an insult and like you, l tend to try and clean up some of the bs on here as well. If it were the Coyote 5.0 with the four cams and the ten foot timing chain you might have something there, lol. You may want to think of some folks on here as childish but you speak as though you're no spring chicken yourself. That said, when it comes to bs, Ford owners take the cake. It doesn't matter what engine they have, they all claim they can beat a hemi or it's just as fast, lol!

I could be mistaken, but did Ford not receive some $23B from the feds in 2006 for express purpose of warding off... bankruptcy?

And CHILLYPOND, I don't know if Ford recieved bail out money in 06. I do know
Chrysler has ben bailed out 3 times as far back as I can remember. I do think it's
a shame though because IMO they have allways been better than GM. Right now
if I wanted a full size sedan it would be the new Charger or Taurus in that order.
GM don't make a damn thing I'd want to live with every day.
