It just keeps getting worse for Ford F-150

Or occasionally get a free Starscan tool... (Sorry no details to protect the party of interest, lol!)
Yes, Chrysler can thank Mercedes for the NAG-1 transmission, and there is no doubt these trannys can take the abuse. If there's any doubt go read about all the built LX and LY platform vehicles forums as a testimony. Hell, I'm one of them!

Ford f150 sales for 2011= 516,639 units sold. 3 recalls one of which is for the trans (16,091 units) total units affected by all three recalls 38,850 or 7.5 % of total units sold.
Total Ram 1500 units sold 218,750, 1 recall affecting 60,382 units or 27% of total units sold. So Ford sells more than twice the number of trucks but has 1/3 the recall rate?
And I'm still not saying one brand is better than the other reliability wise because I don't beleive these numbers alone tell the whole story but, it sure as hell would make a truely
objective person stop and think.

They are ford lovers. They should change the name of their magazines to "Fordtrash". Anytime you read an article about a dodge product in their magazine`s, they bash the dodge product very badly. They are NOT the best place to get info from unless you are a ford lover.
Just to add more fuel to the fire here....
i thought i had issues with my hemi trucks (and i`ve had quite a few hemi trucks) until i went on some of the other forums. I see alot more major issues with the fords and chevys than i see with dodge. After seeing what kinds of problems they`ve been having, makes my dodge issues feel pretty small. Just because ford inflates their sales numbers, dosent convince me to ever own one. It just proves that people are misinformed and they are sheep being led to the slaughter just because of fords sales numbers. (kinda like OBOZO and his administration in the white house) And i highly dought i would buy a chevy again anytime to soon, i`ve looked at chevys before buying my hemi truck, chevy couldnt touch the dodge truck, for the looks, the quality, the ride, the power, they wernt even close for the money. Just my own personal opinion, the chevy truck is just very cheap looking inside AND out. And why would you want 300hp when you can have 400hp, and still get the same mpg for less money. Look into the 2011 chevy truck, bigtime issues with transmissions. Google 2011 chevy truck problems, take your pick, ther`s LOTS to choose from, just like ford...! Dodge`s problem with their transmission, the junk torque convertors. Other than that, pretty much problem free transmissions compared to the other 2 companies.

I don't think there is too much in the way of bad feelings - now had you posted on a Furd site!!!
I think there is a big misconception that Fords don't have the issues that Dodge and GM has because they didn't declare bankruptcy or need government bailout. Truth be known, they have just as many problems as any other automakers, but have always had a bigger following...

Boy, are you right. When you first mentioned it to me I went digging, needless to say you know what I found, and then some. They certainly have a huge following, kinda weird. I have looked at alot of F-150 online window stickers. They are an expensive rig. I never owned one, just never caught my eye.
