Anyone have a lead for replacement smoked LED style tail lights? (I've seen a few on some 'auction' sites, but they don't appear to have a reverse lead, and only a single LED panel for all functions (Brake,Running,Turn)
Any recommendations on the HIDs for the reverse lights? I'd love to have 'brighter' backup capabilities.

I was going to put a normal set in and wire it in myself but decided against it b/c those sets put out more heat being 35/55w bulbs I was a little concerned about overheating issues. These are 15w and are still bright as hell. I have 5% limo tint and can still see out my windows. Plus the look on peoples faces in the parking lot is great. It takes about 5 seconds to warm up to full temp in really cold weather. But on a mild day about 3 seconds.
Here's pics of mine... they say it all (these were taken w/ my cell phone so it doesn't show the full potential)

Thanks!

They are plug and play. No cutting wires, honestly it takes 10 minutes to install....just use double sided tape to mount the ballast.
On another forum a guy was the guinea pig and said they worked good, so I went ahead and went this route and they rock so far! I was hesitant but glad I went w/ the purchase. I am wiring an inline switch as soon as the weather permits so I can turn them on for those pesky tailgaters.

Captain
How was the shipping with that site, any additional costs mikey, did they ship from China or what. I found some on eBay pretty much the same thing but they seem to ship from Hong Kong which would probably cost like 60$. The ones on eBay are 71$.

Actually they shipped from about fifteen minutes from where i currently live in nj... They have a shipping wearhouse there and it wasn't too bad...

I've been looking at these as well, certainly could use more light when backing up...
Found this outfit. Said they'd do the kit shipped for $85. They are emailing me the installation instructions and confirming the 921 bulb fitment...
We'll see...I'll post if I receive any updates.
BTW on the taillights, you might want to check out this thread...

Are these not the exact same kit as the ones linked above?Originally Posted by Mikeyyy816
