You going to do thr install yourself? If so its pretty easy... I did a DIY INSTALL thread on how to do it...

I looked at tire rack and they say they are backordered also. I think im probably looking at just some new struts and maybe a spacer. My stock struts are shot, its pretty rough on washboards, and passing big trucks is getting a little scary with the daily wind storms. I have read alot of negative things about spacers, but I will probably try some, if anyone has some recommendations.

 

I have 2.5" spacers in mine now. While I haven't experienced any problems I think that the Bilstein's are a better way to go if your going to level your truck. I know it's the pits to have to wait for parts, especially when they didn't tell you there would be a delay, but since there isn't anything I can do about it other than getting another brand(and I'm not going to do that)I figure I'll just wait them out. It sound like most retailers are out of the 5100's so were all waiting for Bilstein.

Well, they never responded to my e-mail so I opened a case with ebay yesterday to get my money back.

 

No news from topguncustomz so it looks like I'll be getting my money from ebay buyer protection on Mar 9th. They didnt even bother replying once I had opened a case. Tire Rack expects availability of Bilstien 5100's on May 7th.

 

Talked to Bilstein today and they said that they will start production to fill the back orders on the 5100's sometime in April. They didn't seem to be very concerned that there was a nation wide back order problem. The guy I talked to said, " I guess they must be popular" then he laughed. I love dealing with a**holes like that--he must ride the bus to work.

So... topguncustomz finally repied with one day left before I could escalate my case.
Seller's message:
"The shocks are arriving today. They will ship out after they arrive. Jim "

Yeah right! I emailed "Jim" back and said "good send me a tracking number today or give me a refund, either way I dont believe that your going to have them by today".

 

So "Jim" replied
Seller's message:
"We are not Bilstein. We are a distributor for them. If they tell us something, then we will tell you. Sorry if you don't believe me, but this is what they are saying. Jim"

By the way I didn't get a tracking number or a refund so tomorrow I call ebay customer support and hopefully get this sh*t dealt with.
This has been the worst ebay seller I have dealt with in 5 years. I have asked for my money back 3 times. I strongly advise against purchasing from these guys. You may be thier next victim. If you see them on ebay and want to buy from them look at thier negative feed back, it is all the same sh*t that I am dealing with. I took a gamble buying from a seller that has 97.8 feedback and boy am I paying for it.
