Default Heads up on a bad ebay seller.

I bought my shocks on ebay from "topguncustomz" over 20 days ago. After 15 days I emailed them and it took them 4 days to tell me they were "backordered". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I told them in my email to send me a tracking number and they still havn't, but assured me they would send them Thursday the 24th (of May?). I'll probably never see them. They are pretty shady, just thought i would give the fellow ebuyers on here the heads up.

If you ordered Bilstein 5100's they are on backorder. I ordered some from Shock warehouse the first of this month and they said they were back ordered also. I called Bilstein and talked to them just to see if the shock warehouse was jacking me around. Bilstein said that the 5100's were in fact on back order and they would have a new supply to their vendors in about 30 days. The only place that I found that has them in stock was the tire rack--at least they said they had them in stock.

Pull Ya is correct. I ordered mine last year, EVERYONE. was on back order... Tirerack was the only company to have them in stock.

TopGunsCustomz is not shady.. Ive ordered two products from them, great customer service when i called them. The rear spacers they make are GREAT quality. Don't bash them just yet, bc you may want a set of there custom rear spacers once you put the 5100s on...

Everyone wants these shocks, so everyone is on backorder.

I dont agree with you mikeyyy. If they were backordered they should have posted that on the listing, 4 days for a "business" to reply to an email from a buyer. Thats shady in my book. I would have just went somewhere else or bought a spacer, if i knew i was buying a backordered part.

They have the same listing up that I bought and it says delivery "Mar. 1 - Mar.7" and they just told me mine were backordered? Not shady? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Front-Bils...14144264222405

Drop shippers do that $hit on eBay all the time.. If you can't ship the part, DON'T SELL IT!!

75% of companies drop ship in todays e-world.

Okay, i will say i don't agree with that. Have you tried to call them? See if they'll comp you some of the shipping costs or some $ for the parts due to not properly listing the info.

When i ordered mine from tirerack, those jokers sent me struts to a car or some sort, but they helped me out n sent me the correct ones a few days later.

I emailed them and told them to refund my money, I dont want to wait too long, you only are covered under ebays buyer protection for 45 days after purchase. We'll see if they make it easy or if I have to file a complaint.

The reason you should email instead of calling is so you have documented communications, incase you should ever need proof.
