Bound to happen (first door ding)
Well, it was bound to happen someday. Today in a crowded parking lot in Toronto apparently was that day.
I was able to get the paint off with some Fukken wax and elbow grease, and there appears to be no damage to the truck's paint. Hopefully someone can get this out for me.

Looks like a 50 dollar bill to have it repaired.
I took my truck to get some dings out a while back and watched the guy do it.
All he did was drill a 1/4" hole in the door jam parallel to the dent insert a metal rod with a 30* or so bend in it an work it back and forth to get the ding out from the inside.
Touched up the hole with a dab of paint and inserted a rubber/plastic grommet into the hole and was done.
He said he had about 30 or so dealerships and used car lots that he caters to throughout the county.
Maybe you can try this yourself and save some $ as well.
I know I'm gonna next time.

I know,it makes you sick. But I have learned to deal with it.Only 2 weeks passed before my first ding showed up,actually on the same door, just under the mirror, but don't know how it got there.......The suction cup type dent remover done wonders to mine...... All I can say is,just take care of it the best you can........

I was pull starting my leaf blower and my hand slipped off the pull handle and my knuckle just barely hit the side of my truck and left a knuckle dent in it.
It doesn't take much on these trucks......
I have a set of suction cups that I use to pull dents with. You might try something like the base of a GPS dash mount. Suck it down onto the dent and just pull it out.....Just make sure both surfaces are really, really clean.

I can feel your pain i have a couple of small dents all self inflicted but i am very particular with my vehicles so when ever i go to a mall parking lot my truck is always parked furthest from the door away from every one to avoid the inconsiderate people.
Try dent doctor or google dent removal.

Door sings suck!
The best add-on I ever purchased was door ding protection plan last spring on my wifes '11 Buick Turbo. $175, protection for life with original owner. My wife has to park in crowded lots occasionally with her job profession, I've used the service twice already. We get a free rental, PDR service comes to the dealer to repair ding.
