5.9 is only 250 HP or do you have one BUILT? When there is a will there is a way. I heard of a guy who did this I will see if I can find any info. 5.9 sucks gas way worse than the HEMI, I had one in my Durango R/T no where near the power or torque of the HEMI

Nothing like going bigtime backwards... you`ll be sorry if you do it.
The hemi is leaps and bounds far ahead of any 5.9/360 dinosaur by far.

op stated, 5.9 hemi. no such thing, thought it was 5.9 magnum. 5.9 cummins would be much to heavy for a 1500, almost to heavy for the 2500 and 3500, judging how i use to go through ball joints.

Why not go all the way and find yourself a 426 HEMI and build it up and you will or I would be happy anyway, the rumble...even a 440 big block the sound and feel of the power. It's old school but i would love my truck to shake and sound like it wants to stall at stops signs and red lights cuz I know that it is gonna fly when the light turns green. I know guys that build 383 strokers out of 360's could he mean that?

Terrible idea. whether your talking about a 5.9Lno HP motor or a super heavy diesel that requires lots of fabrication the standard 1500 frame doesnt have and cannot support!
Hemi 5.9L has WAY more power and better mpg than any 5.9L magnum.
If your thinking 5.9L is bigger than 5.7L, stop thinking like that.

This sounds like either an argument started on purpose or just a really bad idea.
