My nieghbour used back to black on his F150 factory fender flares and I noticed that they had gone back to faded in less than a few months. A short time considering the lack of sun in our climate.

I'm sorry if I implied this was a permanent solution. As far as I know there is no permanent solution. I regularly re-apply "Back To Black" every time I wax and detail my truck, which averages about once a month. It gets washed weekly.

With a very badly faded surface I have previously had reasonable results using multiple applications of B2B about 2~3 days apart and eventually (after 4 or 5 reapplications) been able to restore the appearance of many surfaces.

From my experience B2B works better and lasts longer than any of the ArmorAll products. Your own experience may vary. I do not use (nor recommend) B2B for your tires. For tires I initially power-wash then apply the tire dressing product from Griot's Garage (catalog) very sparingly.

Dont much matter what you have today, the plastic used on these vehicles today dont come with UV protection mixed into the plastic anymore. That would be quality if they did that, but that ain`t gonna happen for ANY vehicle today because quality isnt something they`re after, its profit, and profit BIG, at the expense of the final end user/customer. The only thing you can do is try some different products and hope for the best. As i`ve said before, i`ve had the best luck with "Mother`s Back To Black". But keep in mind, if it isnt built with UV protection to start with, nothing in this world is gonna keep plastic from turning gray... or for a lesser term...fade.

The 303 products are great. I used it on my old convertible's vinyl top. Someone already mentioned marine shops. I bought it from my local RV dealer. They had plenty available.

I tried the Meguirs trim restorer. It works Awesome, Way better than Back to Black, BUT, when it rains, it streaks down the paint and if left like that, the sun can bake it into your clearcoat causing it to almost stain!
I just leave my plastic trim to fade and rot away as it always does. When it gets bad enough, I'll just replace all the plastic trim pieces. I've already priced it out. It'll cost $200 to replace both bumper trim pieces and all the handles. That doesn't include the cowl cover, which i will continue to coat with the Meguirs because it doesn't run down the paint anywhere.
