custom projectors and switchback turnsignals
I finally got my lights. I should have them installed tomorrow depending on weather. They look real nice and the quality is there, good job Jeremy couldn't ask for better. I'm pretty pumped to try them out in the dark.
I see there's a humidity pack in the headlights, should i keep that in there or remove it, I don't think it would catch fire but i don't want the lights to fog up.
Also when i throw in the H1 bulb, should i try and seal where the plastic base of the bulb sits a bit or just leave it as is, especially for the fog lights seems like moisture might get in there.
Lastly would it be safe to tap my highbeam wires for the fogs to the same as the headlights so when i turn on my highbeams from the truck both fogs and heads go on highbeams. Or put everything on a fused switch, i plan on putting the halos on a fused switch.
Thanks

You know.........I'll need you to send me a few pics when you get 'em on the truck! Leave the silica in there. It won't catch fire, its just there to help with the temp changes.
H1 bulbs, for the heads, no issue there - the dust caps care for it. On the fogs, if you want to put a light dab of dielectric around it, couldn't hurt! I run mine without it (different projectors, but same idea) - haven't had any issues with fogging on them.
Fogs and highs - they only work if your fogs stay on when you hit the highs. Most trucks don't, but I still wire them up with the high beam wires accessible, just in case! You shouldn't need a fuse for that connection, its not pulling jack for power - it just triggers the solenoid to hold it down.

The only thing i'm wondering if i wire those up on a switch so the heads and fogs go on highbeams, when i hit the switch will the current go back in the trucks system via the stock highbeam wires, it probably will turn on the halogen highbeams in the quad also but not sure if it can hurt the system. Normally i would just leave the stock highbeam unplugged since theyre useless anyways but i need them for daytime driving lights. I guess theres only one way to find out.
