I don't understand how it is $700. I sent him my headlights and he installed the morimoto projector housings in them and then I also bought the hid lights, ballasts and wiring harness from him and I was under $500

Jay.. Mine were $700 bc I purchased quad lights from him... I originally had duals. The quads I want to say were over $100 each. Then I sold my duals to offset the cost. That's why I paid in the 700 range

Hell, I have $550 in just material alone for my HID retro-fit for single Bi-xenon projectors, not including any Labor involved. Ofcourse I did it myself, but Labor is easily $300 on what I did IMO. 4-way adjustable projectors...Never seeen another like it. They are all glued to housing, where as I can remove mine for a replacement and bolt it into same spot!
Here's what I have;
FX-R Bi-xenon w/clear lens
Philips D2S 4300k
Mastush*ta Gen 5 Ballasts
Custom made shrouds
Custom made wiring harness
CCFL Halo's

I have about $50 in parts for just my wiring harness.

Well, thats the price...I have the QUADS already so that is not the difference.
Here are the quotes:

$630 + $75 for the 55 Watt...= $705.
Or am I missing something?

That includes the price of new headlights. if you sent yours in it would prob be $200 cheaper less shipping, but it's easier to sell yours after you get his so there's no downtime. You'd end up at the same $500-550 range.
H1 projector? They must be much easier to install than the D2S I have??

DirtyDog is right...in that quote he is buying you new Quad headlights. Then when you install those headlights in your truck you'd still have your old ones. I'm sure JJ still runs his "core program" you can ask him about that...But regardless, send him your current quad lights, and he'll use those(if you can go 2 weeks w/o your truck) or you can have him send you the new lights and sell your's on e-bay or on the classifieds off this site easily for $200 for both to help offset the cost.

Thanks for the reply Rich,
You might be correct, however in the email I specifically informed him I'd be sending my QUADS to him? And Jeremy reiterated the price in detail - and I QUOTE:

"If we went with a setup like the one linked, here's a breakdown: Base quote = 630
Add 55W HIDs - 75
Add Satin Paint - 90
Total shipped - 795"
Here is the link to the pair of lights I asked about that he references above.
Either way - I've emailed Jeremy again, to get some clarification.

Bulb base really doesn't make a difference in the install.

But, the projectors I use - Morimoto Mini - are an easier projector to install over the ones you ran with.

Back at ya.

The original quote included new lights, but we can definitely use yours (or my cores). Whatever works best for ya!

I finally got my lights. I should have them installed tomorrow depending on weather. They look real nice and the quality is there, good job Jeremy couldn't ask for better. I'm pretty pumped to try them out in the dark.

I see there's a humidity pack in the headlights, should i keep that in there or remove it, I don't think it would catch fire but i don't want the lights to fog up.

Also when i throw in the H1 bulb, should i try and seal where the plastic base of the bulb sits a bit or just leave it as is, especially for the fog lights seems like moisture might get in there.

Lastly would it be safe to tap my highbeam wires for the fogs to the same as the headlights so when i turn on my highbeams from the truck both fogs and heads go on highbeams. Or put everything on a fused switch, i plan on putting the halos on a fused switch.

Thanks
