Performance chip question?
Probably a million thread about this but after doing much research I'm still debating between 2 modules:
The Superchip Cortex or the Newest Diablo Intune...
The only thing that kinda stop me from buying the diablo is the fact that it is so new and still many issue to fix but other than that I hear great things about both...
Can you give me your opinion?

word around here is diablo is no good...Everyone seems to be on the superchips side. I don't know if you have looked it into it, but bullydog makes a very good tune too. I had one installed in my 07 and I LOVED it. The tune was very good, and the nice thing about that is its a heads up display unit as well (I think like the diablo). So it will tell you instant fuel economy, throttle percentage etc: It also has a 1/8 & 1/4 mile test runs. It records (and graphs) your run and your able to save it to card to save on your computer. It also has a built in code reader, but I think superchips has that too. Although bullydog I think has a lot more experience then diablo so that would be the route to go. Bottom line is I loved my bullydog, and still have it. Although because there is no available tune its a paper weight right now, and because there is no tunes out for 11-12s yet there is no viable option.
Most people seem to love superchips because of the transmission tuning, which could be a good thing if you know what your doing. But I think on the engine tuning portion they both can relate really good IMO

Depends on what year truck you have(you should update your profile so it shows)
and what mods you have and/or looking to do.
Diablo Predator is best for highly modified vehicles like head work/cams..etc because the tunes are fully customizeable but still costs extra money for someone to write that tune. You cannot do this yourself. Average cost is $100-$300 depending on time spent datalogging/dyno tuning, number of tunes....etc
Superchips is best for earlier '09/10 models because it will support FULL Trans tuning, so you can adjust anything and everything on your transmission. Up/down shifts, Partials, remove torque management, etc., and it stores trans tow tunes and all. This tuner is not for highly modified engines but does support mild cams. There is no support to creat custom tunes for these tuners as of yet.
I have Superchips with catback/intake and highly modified trans tuning w/mds disabled. Truck shifts super crisp and on demand. No floring the pedal to downshift and no upshifting while ascending hills which happened all the time especially when towing. No more! Beats the hell out of the factory slushbox shifting. i drove the newest 2012 Ram and the shifting still sucked. Dodge didn't do much of anything that I could tell to improve on it. Got back in my truck and I was grinning again.
