Default Any issues??

Hello all,
I'm looking for any opinions, troubles or expertiences any of you may have had while towing. I have a 2010, 1500 crew cab with the 5.7. I just bought a 29 foot travel trailer with a dry weight of 6200 lbs. I know the techs are saying that the truck will tow @10,000 lbs. What do you all think about the weight and towing of this amount of weight? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Depends what kind of weight you plan on adding in addition to the current dry weight. Also the 10k is based on certain criterias in which the truck is setup for.

20" wheels reduce that number, 4wd/2wd, gear ratio, all affect that number. I don't see any issues hauling your trailer as is regardless of your truck setup, as long as your not adding excessive weight in the bed.
