Hello all. I have a 2012 with a little over 1100 miles on the clock and have noticed that when warm and idling in park the RPM's seem to dip rhythmically. Probably only about 25-30 RPM's but its enough to hear the exhaust note slightly change and the tech needle move. Bounces from about 625-600, if that. Doesn't matter if the AC is on or off, also it never happens when in gear. Idk if its my OCD setting in or not but I would hope a brand new motor would idle rock steady. Anybody else notice a slight flutter in park at idle?

If it were 500 or 1,000 rpm`s bouncing around, that would be something to complain about, but 25 to 30 rpm fluctuation....?!?!?!?! Also, being that you only have 1,100 miles on the odometer, its likely going in and out of "learn mode". Some of these vehicles today, dont have the smoothest idle, especially when you`re puttin out bigger HP numbers like the hemi. All of my hemi`s have all done this in the past, i usually find its the crappy gas we`re buying today is the problem. Go get you some good 89 octane gas, add a couple bottles of "GUMOUT" fuel injection cleaner to a FULL tank of gas and just drive it. If it gets worse, have your dealer reflash the pooter... BUT, be aware ahead of time, they`re gonna pull some ignition timing out of it when they reflash the truck... then the truck will be a dog after that.
