im thinking about plasti dipping my ram head emblems in the front and back.
i know how the front one comes off, but how does the back one come off? or is it adhered on?

I haven't taken mine off, but if I remember correctly the rear uses clips and bolts to hold it on. You have to take off the inner tailgate panel to get to the bolts.

If you check on YouTube there are plenty of folks to have plastidipped emblems with them still on car. Just mask it off really well, then use 4 or 5 very light coats.

 

It is adhered.
I suggest honestly taping it off and painting it. It'll save you a **** load of time and hassle

I installed smoked GTS Headlight and tailight covers and am getting the windows tinted at the begining of next week, was thinking 15% in the front two and a brow across the front; then plasti diping the front and rear dodge emblem. im still debating on de-badging the RAM 1500 and HEMI/OUTDOORSMAN emblems. also have smoke fog light covers coming in, possibly plasti diping the 3rd brake light with smoke as well..
Will post some pictures when i get the tint and ram emblems finished!
