I own a 2011 Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi. I installed a K&N filter and a magnaflow 18" mufflex muffler. I would like to maximize performance and gas mileage using a programmable chip. I never used one so I am looking for suggestions. I would like the ability to tweek the trans shifting.

 

I do not have a suggestion, I have a fact. You have to wait. SC does not support 2011 or 2012 yet, nor does Bullydog, Diablo, ect.

When I contacted SC directly they said end of the year, that remains to be seen.

 

I can also say this is correct. No tunes available yet, each company is telling us SOON. Unfortunately this was nearly a half a year ago. I am loosing my confidence in these companies, I was a beta tester for the 3rd gen rams so I receive lots of insider scoops on new performance reviews. None of which are for the 2011-12 rams, they pretty much have every other vehicle tune-able other then the new rams with the hemi of course. What I don't understand is they have cracked the 2012 cummins, so the computers must be really different. It kinda gets me scared for when the 2013s are out. They are being shipped with a "better" computer system. If superchips etc: can't crack this system now, it might be even more impossible to hack that one.

IF you want one THAT bad, if you some searches here on the forums, there are guys who have purchased a 2010 PCM, and had it flashed to operate in a 2011 with a tuned flash. Not my choice, but it is an option...

 

Guys, your singing the same tune us 3rd Genners were a few years back.
We had to play the same waiting game, but it was WELL WORTH the wait!!!
For the 3rd Gen's, Diablo half cracked it and Superchips completely cracked it. It took the some time, but then they had beta testers to fine tune everything before they released. They take pride in their product and are NOT going to release something before its ready.
It'll come out, we(Chrysler) are a big part of their profit. Just be patient.

 

Wow, had no idea. I can be patient just try to let me know when it is available.
