09' Body Rust Already
So I went to the dealer. They submitted a claim. Dodge came back and basically said tough you know what. Conveniently they had no record of me calling and complaining about the paint issues back in 09'/10'. I even took it to another dealer who was supposed to clay bar it because Dodge swore it was rail dust. So now I have to hope the Dodge dealer still has my records. This truck is riddled with a poor paint job. I've seen better field paint jobs. For a $42k MSRP truck they are junk. I've been a customer since 1996 but no more.
They'll claim stone chips that went un-repaired and you won't get a thing I'm sure.
Sucks *** but they have clauses to protect themselves from every type of claim.

I had the same rust as you in the fender wells as well as blistered paint just above them , also I forgot to mention my hood had a blister in the front corner and they replaced it also ,keep hounding them to live up to there body corrosion warranty , I had no problem with the issue, a week after I went to my dealer and he submitted pics to Chrysler he called me to say everything was ok'd .
Good Luck
Good Luck
Update: I called again to speak to a supervisor because I didn't care how they treated me. I spoke to the delearship that I took the truck to when I first bought it to complain about the rust. They had no record of any of my service. Dodge has no record of me ever calling in. Dodge would not let me speak to a supervisor. I gave the woman a rant and she said there is nothing they can do and I can't talk to a supervisor. I am done with mopar. My family going back to my grandfather have been faithful mopar buyers and no more. These trucks are made with poor craftsmenship. They are junk and dodge isn't willing to stand by them. I'll be dumping the truck now.
UPDATE II: I'm guessing a lot of Dodge Ram owners are going to find serious rust issues. I urge you to call Dodge ASAP before your warranty is up. Check your truck over with a fine tooth comb especially edges which are most susceptible to rusting (knife edging). I called Dodge soon after I bought the truck complaining about freckle rust. They ignored it as rail dust. Well I called up again yesterday to complain about the poor customer service, not being able to speak with a supervisor and missing records. Well they mysteriously found my record with my complaint of rust in March 2009. The guy said it should have been sent to a case manager. The case manager is supposed to call me today. Even if the rust is not bad now at least document it with Dodge. Have them sent you an email of the complaint so you have documentation. I evaluate bridge paint on a daily basis so I know a bad paint job when I see one. I also know the tell tale signs of troubles in the future. Your factory paint job is the best and auto paint jobs from factory are the best in the industry. There is no reason for this type of rust.
Well, the truck is gone. I traded it in. The rust progressed much worse (perforations and it soon was going to eat through the outside of the bed). I also had a few other spots come up one on the hood and one on the little plate below the license plate. Neither areas were shot very well with paint. I also had a crease forming above the drivers side rear wheel well. It looks like the stress on the bed was causing it. The metal is just way too thin on these trucks. I'm a little sad to say goodbye to Dodge for good since I've been a customer since 96'. I hope others don't have the same problems I had. Maybe just the first line of trucks had poor craftsmanship. Either way Dodge didn't stand behind their product and for that reason they lost my business.
