Towed the boat to Lake Powell
Towed the boat down to Lake Powell last month and had an awesome time. The Ram had no issues pulling the boat and averaged 12 mpg. There were some big grades to climb but the engine temp never got above 210 and the trans never got above 190. We camped on the Lone Rock Beach where beach launching is allowed. I had to back in pretty deep to get the boat to float but I didn't even need to use 4wd to launch or retrieve. While there we made the trek to Rainbow Bridge, it took about 1.5 hours to boat there but was definitely worth it. Here are some pics of the trip.

Lu, why does the movie Idiocracy come to mind when you say that...
Pvt. Joe Bowers: Why me? Every time Metsler says, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way," I get out of the way.
Sgt. Keller: Yeah, when he says that, you're not supposed to choose "get out of the way." It's supposed to embarrass you into leading - or at least following.
Pvt. Joe Bowers: That doesn't embarrass me.
