Default 2012 headlight protection/skin ?

I got a 2012 Ram 1500. I want to install those headlight skins/film protection to keep them from clouding over like my previous vehicles. The only ones I can seem to find are from ClearDefender.

Has anyone used these or could recommend a brand to use to keep these lights looking sharp?

Sheartab,

I reviewed your inquiry with Mopar and they do not offer the headlight skins/film protection. I would recommend contacting a parts department at a Dodge dealer, they may have more information regarding other brand availability.

I hope this helps!

Just Google "headlight protection film" and you will get a lot of different brands. As large and expensive as the lights are, I think it is a good idea to at least look into it. One stone hit and you are out hundreds of $$$ vs the nominal price of the film. Impact resistance is the main reason for installing the film.

I will probably go with Headlight Armor. I don't care for the foggy/hazed over look after a few years of road wear.

After a few years or wear, it might be good to replace them anyway.
