New member- 2011 Ram 2500 Crew cab
Hi All,
I just joined up. I have just purchased my 2nd Dodge Ram. I traded in my 2001, beat to hell 1500 quad cab 4x4 with 160,000 miles on it on a 2011 2500 crew cab 4x4. After freezing to death the last couple of weeks after my heater stopped working I finally decided it was time. I think I got a good deal, it's a certified 2011, 2500 ST crew cab 4x4 Hemi with 20,000 miles on it and the full tow package with trailer brakes and mirrors. Paid 25,500 for it. 7 year, 100,000 power train coverage and 3 and 36 bumper to bumper. Though I am considering getting the 6 year bumper to bumper extension for $1200 but I am not sure it's worth it or not.
I did give up some bells and whistles when getting the ST so that drew me here for some DIY. I want to add the overhead console, I miss the lights and maybe try to change to a power seat, I miss the lumbar support. Key-less entry and remote start are being transferred over from my old truck to this one so that's covered. Thinking of enabling the uconnect as well. Any other ideas out there? I like the idea of turning this into a Laramie version as much as possble on the cheap. Not sure what else I would need. I will be upgrading the rubber. Thanks for all the good info on here!!
