Default 2013 Ram 3500 specs?

I keep hearing Dodge is bringing back the gassers in the 3500 for those of us who don't drive a whole lot but require the ability to haul some heavier stuff. Not looking for diesel/gas debate just wondering when they plan on letting us in on this big secret. Has anyone seen anything on final engine specs, gearing, and payload? I sure hope they finally offer something steeper then 4.11 to compete with ford's 4.30 rear end.

Hemi,

Information on the 2013 Heavy Duty Rams should be available in the first quarter. Keep checking with the Ram website for updates.

The online build tool and specs are up on the Canadian site. I must say I'm a little disappointed the gasser isn't offered on the 1 ton except for the stripped down ST model. I hate the fact that my next truck will have to be another GM or maybe even a Ferd to get me the combo I need. best I could hope for is that all this diesel killing EPA stuff generates enough interest in gassers before I'm ready to upgrade.

I've seen no indication the Hemi is restricted to trim, it should be available from base to Laramie Longhorn

I looked all over the site and it lists the diesel as standard from SLT and up so hopefuly I'm missing something.

Hemi,

I would suggest reviewing with the sales department at a Dodge dealer to confirm if what exactly you are looking for can be ordered. If you have specifics in mind, you can send me a PM of the options you want and the name of a dealer you'd like to work with and I'd be happy to assist in reviewing this for you.

I'm not really in the market any time soon so I'll let the trucks hit the dealerships and one of these days I'll swing by and ask a few questions. At this point it's just about knowing what my options are if my truck ever dies.
