Have you done the math? So many think I need better MPG to save $$. If saving $$ is your only motive keep it stock. The parts you listed will take YEARS to pay off purely based on any MPG gains.

If you are getting 16-17mpg you are already getting as good as you will get.

If you need more than that, look into a Civic or a Corolla. Full size pickups do not get good MPG, if you need better MPG don't buy a truck.

Dave,
they`ve squeezed just about any amount of good MPG`s as you`re going to get out of these trucks right from the factory. So any add-on aftermarket products are a huge waste of money if you`re looking for MPG gains. Especially cold air intakes. The cold air box`s in these 09 on up trucks are great, so dont mess with it or you`ll go backwards in mpg. Many people on the forums have tried everything, seems OEM stock is where its at for any decent mpg`s. You`ll get some people in here that will argue up an down all day long that they got better MPG`s out of their tuned hemi supertrucks... take it with a grain of salt my friend. Ther`s certainly no magic box`s with pixie dust out there yet thats going to get you anything better than you already have. I`m gettin 22 with mine on the highway, so i have no complaints here. I use valvoline synthetic 5w20 oil. I believe that helps alot.

I put out $600. for a cold air intake that didn't improve power or mpg , but when I hammer it the noise it creates under the hood makes me feel I got my monies worth, lol.

Wise choice Dave..!
If you were to replace the OEM camshaft & doing port work to the heads, and exhaust work, then a CAI would be in order.

I'm impressed with your 16-17 mpg. I've been following some of the tips here (cruise control, 65 mph, windows up on freeway down on city streets etc) and I'm nearing the 16 mpg range. I think Im hovering around 15.6 on my Hemi 1500 crewcab.
