Default Time to replace my '08 1500, need Advise

My 2008 with 400k is getting replaced thanks to an inattentive driver. When I bought the '08 I just went with the cheapest on the lot. Now i get to choose my options!

Here is what I have to have, the rest is up in the air so any advise would be great

Buying new, so there are few 2013 left around and plenty of 2014

Have to buy before end of year so I cannot get the 6 cyl diesel. so prob going with the 5.7.. As much as i would like the MPG of the little gas engine I consistently carry 1800 lbs in bed and tow 5-6k lbs

Going with the crew cab with the 6'4" bed, Require power locks, keyless, cruise, Bluetooth and bucket seats... the rest is up for debate.

opinions on...
8.4" screen
Backup cam
4x4
air suspension
remote start
8 speed transmission

Since this is mostly a work truck I dont need leather or heated seats or any thing too frilly (power mirrors etc)

And lastly is there somewhere I can see what people are actually paying vs sticker? Last time I bought I paid exactly %55 of sticker (that was in the fire sale at the end of 2008 and was quite a deal)

Thanks

Well, jumped the gun before I could get any advise..

Bought an 2014 big horn edition 4x2,

No air ride suspension but I think I got everything else...

Now time to figure out how to relocate the backup camera to allow my work topper to work

and figure out if i want to swap out the 20" wheels for the smaller rims.

Thanks!

That's was quick!!

Congrats. The camera disconnects quite easily from the back of the bed, possibly you could figure out a way to install it in your topper if you want it.

Congrats on the new truck!

The only thing off you optional options that I would have recommended is the remote start. It really is a nice feature and a lot better than running out to crank one in the dead of winter.
