Default Flowmaster 40 2014 HEMI

Today I had a Flowmaster 40 installed on my 2014 with factory dual exhaust. All I have to say, Yes. Just yes. Thing roars when I floor it! I havent noticed any drone or anything, but it does sound a little awkward when MDS kicks in but I think I'll get used to it.

I got the standard Aluminized Steel and I purchased it from Meineke for approximately $190 installed. The guy gave me a slammin deal as everywhere else in the local area I called were quoting $250-$290. Plus, I got a 10% military discount, and we got to share some stories!

I got the 40 on mine too and love it. Had it on for a year now and I don't even notice the MDS kick in anymore. Plus I think I gained a little hp too, or that could just be my foot pushing the Gass more lol

I doubt you'll ever get use to the MDS problem. Hopefully there will be a tuner release for your year to disable MDS. I was on edge back in 2009 waiting for my release. I bought a tuner just to disable it..lol You could just keep hitting the TOW/haul mode button the O/D off feature or whatever they have on the 14's. That disables it.
If you don't tow, then your fine, but I've heard a lot of complaints about drone when towing due to the dual exit exhaust.

When MDS turns on it definitely catches my ear. I typically use the manual shift mode and put in 5th or 6th. Disables it that way too.
